Brief overview
We collect personal data only with great restraint. This statement describes what data we process, why we do so, how long data is stored (generally 2 years), and what rights you have.
principles
- Data minimization: We only collect data that is necessary for processing your request or for the secure operation of the website.
- Transparency: Every processing step is documented in a traceable manner.
- Security: We protect data using appropriate technical and organizational measures (TLS, access restrictions, backups).
1. What data we process

When you use the contact form, we generally collect the following data:
- Name
- email address
- Subject and message text
- Date and time of contact
Purpose: To respond to your inquiry and, if applicable, to initiate a contract.
Technical log data
When you visit our website, we automatically log technical data (e.g., anonymized IP address, browser type, time of access). We use this data exclusively for secure operation, error diagnosis, and prevention of misuse.
2. Cookies & Tracking
We may set necessary cookies that are required for the website to function without consent. Tracking cookies (e.g., Google Analytics) are only loaded after express consent has been given. All analysis and marketing cookies are disabled by default.
Technical and practical note: Only activate Google Analytics if consent has been actively given; alternatively, we recommend server-side, privacy-friendly evaluations or privacy-compliant alternatives.
3. Google Analytics (only with consent)
We only use Google Analytics if you agree to it. If activated, we configure the tool to be as data-efficient as possible (e.g., IP anonymization, minimizing retention period). Information on deactivation can be found at the provider's website.
4. Disclosure & recipients
Recipients of data are only, where necessary:
- Hostpoint (hosting: website operation, backups) — processor;
- Technical maintenance service provider (only in accordance with AVV/contract);
- Analysis services, if applicable, but only with consent.
We do not sell personal data.
5. Data transfer abroad
If third-party services (e.g., Google) process personal data outside Switzerland, we will expressly inform you and, if necessary, use additional protective measures (standard contractual clauses, technical measures). If you do not want this, do not activate consent for third-party providers.
6. Storage period
Contact details from the contact form are stored for two years as standard, unless there is a legal obligation to store them for longer or you request their deletion.
7. Your rights
- Information about the processed data
- Correction of incorrect data
- Deletion (if legally possible)
- Restriction of processing
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interest
- Revocation of consent
To exercise your rights, please contact us at: welcome@filtracon.com. If you have any complaints, you can contact the FDPIC.
8. Data security
We implement technical and organizational measures (TLS/SSL, access controls, backups). Despite all measures, complete security cannot be guaranteed; we will inform those affected in the event of a reportable data breach in accordance with legal requirements.
9. Changes to this statement
This privacy policy may be amended. The version published on our website with the date is valid.
